🌿 Women's Equine‑Assisted Learning Training Day
Service Description
A restorative, experiential day using the Eagala Model to reconnect, rebalance, and rebuild inner strength. 🐴 Eagala Model Principles Embedded Throughout • No riding • Horses as active partners • Solution‑focused, client‑led • Metaphor-rich experiential learning • Emotional safety and choice at the centre 🌸 Purpose of the Day A safe, confidential, experiential space for women experiencing burnout, overwhelm, compassion fatigue, or emotional exhaustion. Using the Eagala Model, participants explore patterns, boundaries, emotional load, and personal resilience through metaphor, movement, and relationship with the horses. 🎯 Aims • To create a safe, supportive, and non‑judgemental space for women to explore burnout, overwhelm, and emotional fatigue through experiential interaction with horses. • To increase awareness of the emotional, physical, and relational impact of burnout on women’s lives. • To provide an embodied, metaphor‑rich learning experience that helps women reconnect with balance, boundaries, and personal agency. • To support women in recognising the invisible load they carry and the patterns that contribute to burnout. • To promote self‑compassion, resilience, and healthier strategies for managing stress and emotional labour. 🧭 Objectives By the end of the programme, participants will be able to: • Identify personal sources of burnout, overwhelm, and emotional load. • Recognise how burnout shows up in their body, behaviour, and relationships. • Use metaphor and experiential learning with horses to externalise internal experiences safely. • Explore and practise healthy boundaries through non‑verbal interaction with horses. • Reflect on patterns such as over‑functioning, people‑pleasing, emotional caretaking, or self‑neglect. • Identify at least one realistic, sustainable step toward restoring balance in daily life. • Experience a sense of connection, validation, and shared understanding with other women. • Leave with increased self‑awareness, and confidence in their ability to make supportive changes.
